Darío Rodríguez
Dario Rodriguez is a Master student in the Department of Aerospace Engineering with a concentration in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is working under the supervision of Professor James Allison in the ESDL group from the ISE Department. He obtained his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the EPN in Quito, Ecuador. His previous research focused on parametric modeling and optimization of the aerodynamic, propulsion, and performance of electric-powered fixed-wing UAVs. His primary research in CEESD focuses on the Design Optimization of Hypersonic Airbreathing Propulsion devices. His main interests are engineering design optimization, high-performance computing, hypersonic aerothermodynamics, and scramjet propulsion.
