German Saltar
German G. Saltar Rivera is an Aerospace Engineering PhD candidate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, advised by Dr. Jonathan Freund and Dr. Laura Villafañe. He grew up in the west coast of Puerto Rico and graduated with his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with an Aerospace Engineering Minor. His current research interest is in leveraging adjoint-based machine learning to develop LES sub-grid scale models for particle-laden flows.
