Massimo Franco
Massimo Franco is a Postdoc Research Associate in the research group of Professors Francesco Panerai and Gregory Elliott in the Department of Aerospace Engineering. His primary area of research in CEESD is the development of diagnostics and numerical models for high temperature materials using in hypersonic flight. Massimo has a master degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Padova (Italy), and did a PhD at the Center of Studies and Activites for Space G. Colombo (CISAS, Italy) in Sciences and Technologies for Aeronautics and Satellite Applications. The title of the PhD thesis is “Investigation of thermal protection systems for hybrid rocket motors”, the supervisors were prof. Daniele Pavarin and prof. Francesco Barato.
